Do Use Employee Engagement Activities That Necessitate Interaction

employee engagement activities shouldn't need interaction

Why? Would you want to go to an event where you don't know anyone and then just do individual activities? Probably not. You, like many people, would want to meet and interact with your fellow employees, build new relationships and hopefully make a few new friends along the way. To do that you need to get your employees moving. Here are two ideas for employee engagement activities to help you get your employees moving.

1. Play a Sport Together

As we talked about in an earlier blog post, sweat makes the strongest teammates. If your employees play a sport together they will bond. As they work towards a common goal (winning) they will be able to learn more about each other.

2. Participate In A Local Run/Walk

No pressure. Just fun. This event will get your employees away from the workplace and help them bond along the way. Form a team of employees and then complete a local 5K run/walk together. Foster the team and the team will support you.
